International WuShu and Dance Invitational 2012 will be host in James Logan High School in Union City, California by Northrn California Chinese Culture Athletic Federation(NCCCAF). The NCCCAF is the largest non-profit, non-partisan Chinese sports association in North America.
The NCCCAF was founded in 2003 by a local group of San Francisco Bay Area Chinese. In the past six years, with the involvement and hard work of hundreds of volunteers, NCCCAF has successfully held annual sporting competitions that attract tens of thousands of athletes and attendants, including track and field, soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, baseball,softball, golf, tug of-war, swimming, winter sports, martial arts, gymnastics and others.
The Northern California Chinese Cultural Athletic Federation sponsors the largest Chinese sporting competitions outside of mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. In this sports event, all of us come together to enjoy ourselves not only in all the competitions, but also the music, food and the company of each other. We have this great opportunity to reconnect, and promote a healthy life and community relations in the spirit of Olympics and our Chinese traditional virtues.
